Hey, Everybody!
lol, anyway I have been busy again as you can imagine. lol, work has had me in Augusta for a week and then in Atlanta for a few days, but that is to be expected now. The big news : I have my car back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, the bad news, it still doesn't work quite right. I think it is just the throttle though, so hopefully it won't be too bad. We're having a friend take a quick look at it. I have the Cantata this weekend at Augusta, so we'll see how that goes. I am also going to O'burg tonight for the Graduation, though I'll probably be late. Anyway, that' s a short rendition of my life for now. I'll try and post again sometime next week. Take it easy!

Hey Everybody!!! lol, I did want to say something about Thanksgiving. I really miss the thanksgiving push that used to surround the holiday. Now even the Christian station is playing Christmas music starting on Thanskgiving. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and all that it stands for, but I think that it may be emphasized a little to much now, or at least to early. Christmas tends to focus on giving and being of good cheer. This is wonderful and definitely needs to be touted and lived by all, yet if one leaves thanksgiving out of the equation, generally human nature will forget about the giving and focus on the getting. Which leads to the loss of good cheer as people want more and more, and think of others less and less. Also Thanksgiving really did a lot more of focusing on God while Christmas focused more on how we interact or should interact with others. Obviously extremes are seen across the board on all of these issues, but I think that in forgetting about Thanksgiving, and the meaning and reason behind it, and focusing more on the "opening of the holiday season" and "turkey day" we are leaving a major portion of our societies need out in the cold. Selfishness doesn't need much to start, and I fear that the loss of thanksgiving to balance Christmas could lead to a rampant outbreak of that terrible disease of green. So, while this is a little late, don't forget to give thanks where thanks is due, especially to the one who deserves it most of all, God.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Ok, well alot has happened since that last post. The next week I was gone the ENTIRE week working near Atlanta. I got some respite over the thanksgiving holiday (which was good, I'll post on that in a minute) but am going to Augusta for the next four days. So I am not really sure about this job now. I enjoy it, but it is way to time consuming. And when you try to add in class and homework it just doesn't cut it. Let alone computer gaming time, and movie time, and ... well you know. lol, anayway so that is what is mostly going on right now. I did get to go bowling with my youth group Wed. night. That was alot of fun. I did horrible though, I never broke a hundred. I think the best I got was like an 86, and that might be stretching it. I blame it on a hurt ankle. It was bothering me. Really. Yeah.. anyway... that was a highlight. I also got to go to the BDLI (Brian Doesn't Like It) Concert. Though that preceded the bowling. That was another major highlight. YA'LL ROCK. lol, it was great, and we're getting a *sniff* MAGNIFICANT sound board. *does a little dance* lol. So life looks good for that. Now if I just had some time to go and play with it, and them....... Yeah. Anyway life is living right now, I'll get back to you'll later!

Work!
lol, well I am starting to get used to my job. Actually it is pretty cool. But it is also TIME CONSUMING!!! I actually went on an over night trip yesterday (through this morning) So I missed class and am going to get my homeowork in late. (YAY!!!) [That's sarcasim, I think...] Anyway that went ok, they did give me my own room which was nice. But I don't know if it can cover the 4hrs it took to get there and then back. lol. Anyway, that was my only complaint. Mac you need to hurry up with the transporter, or teleporter or something. lol. Well I need to be going, I have a lot to do (don't we all...). I'll see you all later. - ;D

Hey, everybody!
Everything is doing pretty good here, I have been busy, but that is the norm as usual. Soccer is almost over, and I think I might actually miss being the referee for the little U-6 year olds. They are always cute and funny to watch. Classes are going slow but ok so far. I am not doing as well as I would like, but most of that is scheduling problems, so maybe I can get myself back into the Acedemic shape and do a little better at that. The main problem is that I can't seem to study at home. lol. Anyway there is an full eclipse of the moon tonight so that should be interesting. Anyway dad just came in and said its time to go, so I'll make this quick. The most recent news is that it looks like I have finally gotten a job. SafePro a company that installs security systems called today and I start tomorrow. Should be interesting. lol. Of course that means more time.... lol well I gotta go. Hopefully I'll see most of you all Friday as I'll be in town for the BDLI (WHOO HOO!!) Concert. lol, ttyl! ;D

Ok, well I found out that I can do posts at the tech school, so I will try to keep this thing going a little better (crosses fingers). BDLI did a magnificant job wed. night at cornerstone!!! I think everyone there loved it. I know I did! The sound took awhile to get configured but we finally worked out all of the kinks, and thankfully the guy showed up at the last minute to do the lights, which was really neat. I had a great time visiting with everybody once again. lol, I miss you guys *sniff*. Anyway that was the highlight of my week. Tomorrow Sandersville has their annual Kaolin day parade so that should be nice and next week we have the county fair. So I'll try to keep you all updated with anything interesting in that. Take it easy!

Hey! Ok it has been forever since I updated, and ALOT has happened since then, but I'll try and hit the main stuff, and possibly I'll catch up better in later posts. I went to Ireland and had a blast. It was diferent because I had never done any real street preaching (go to a streat corner, sing, pass out tracks, give testimonies, and of coures, preaching.) Only had one tomato thrown at us. Most people were really nice, even if they didn't necesarily beleive what we were telling them. Went to AFG Camp, that was great, though diffirent with mostly new people, all the rest I guess have gone to college, or were working, and so on. Also went to the last two weeks of S&M camp, and that was a lot of fun. Got to see a bunch of the kids again and say hello to the counslors.
AFG Conference came next and that was a lot of fun too. I mostly helped with the kids, acting as choufer (spelling?) and general watcher. It was also nice to hang out with Shane, Michael, Brian, Dana, and Hannah. Most of them hadn't made camp, so it was great. Missed the rest that usually come, but hopefully they will come next year. Next week I have camp again, though this time I will be a camper!!! THAT will be nice! I'll try and let you all know how that goes. Til then take it easy! - ;D

BLogger got a new look and so did "what's a robit?" Hopefully you like it. I think it gives a much easier to work with atmosphere. lol, whatever, I liked it. Anyway, just thought I would update a little, I spent FAR to much time having fun than actually getting caught up, so I may have to disapear tomorrow and get some real work done. Bleah. but then once it is done I can have fun, if I could just get it done.... Anyway, ttyl!

Friday, May 07, 2004

Hey you all! Well I had my last class today... WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, now I just have a jillion (thats an expression) of papers left to do... lol, I'll be glad when I'm out!

Mom and Aunt Chris left for ohio this afternoon, so keep them in your prayers. I hopefully will get my car back next week! ;D which will be very nice!

Ok, that's about all - I'll catch you later!

*Did you know that the reeces bar contains a substance called "TBHQ"? It's a preservative. I wonder what it stands for... *thinking* Maybe trying to become high quality? (nah, I actually like the bar, it does worry me when they shorten a name though, what are they trying to hide???)

Monday, April 26, 2004

Ok, well, this was a pretty good weekend. I went to the retreat with three of "my" boys, we had a great time. lol, the huge green blob of a ball was just great!!! lol, we got to knock down and get knocked down, and bleed and give our all for the greater good of.... something. But it was alot of fun! Anyway, then we got to try and get up the next day to go to church. Ouch. lol, we were sore from our heads to our feet. But I survived the eight hours of driving for the weekend, and am back at school alittle tired but still in one piece. ;D

Thursday, April 22, 2004

Well we just found out that somebody apparently spitefully stole some books from a lamp student and then spread them around gamble hall, and took her computer cord. What's the point! You can't use it. That is just plain mean! Get a grip people! They never cease to amaze me..... ;D
Ok, this looks pretty cool, and I figured I would give it a try. Don't really know what'll be happening, but check up and I'll try to keep on posting. Just keep hitting the refresh botton! ;D
