Ok, it's been over a year since I posted anything, and I just happened to remember this account and thought I would give it a go again.
I am back in Orangeburg now, which is partly a surprise, but only partly. I did move to Augusta for almost a year, and was sorry to leave. I really like Augusta, and still attend and help at the church there.
I worked with the security company for about a year and a half and then was approached to come to Southern Methodist College to do recruitment and I.T. for them. It took alot of prayer but I finally decided that the ability to minister would be greater there at the college than where I was at the time. I really miss working with the security company and will probably return there eventually.
So starting June 1st, 2006 I became an employee of SMC and have enjoyed most of it. I spent most of the summer on the road and am looking forward to an even busier summer this coming year. (I think I have about 4 days in the month of June that I don't have anything planned. ;p)
Some more changes are coming up, my co-worker (the one that actually knows what she's doing) will be leaving at the end of May to continue with her education and become a science teacher. So I will be all by my lonesome in the recruitment office, trying to figure out how to fill her shoes. (which will be especially hard since I don't wear heels..;p) I will probably be handing the I.T. reins over to Ellen (who will absolutely love me for this *VERY strong sarcasm here*) As we will hopefully be starting an Online program this coming semester. I also have to figure out what my Teen class will do at the Church this summer while I'm gone. I'll probably be around for about 2 Sundays a month or possibly less. (another problem of running for my life...lol.)
So that catches you pretty much up to date. In the more immediate future I am going to have another busy week starting monday with a new class at the Methodist Retirement Home. That will take most of the day and start the week of right, ending with a large group coming on Friday to tour the campus. ;D
I do have Myspace, and Facebook now and actually do a decent job of staying in contact there. So if you want to say hello just send me an e-mail (it hasn't changed) and I'll add you. Or you can just e-mail. ttyl! ;D

Hey, actually got on the internet tonight *shocked beyond belie*. I am currently watching my dad's computer as Winblows is loaded on it. Anyway, life hasn't changed much, I miss the O' burg crowd as much as ever, and havn't been there in ages... *pouts* Am getting serious about moving to Augusta (I think) anyway, I have a couple of possibilities. Work goes on, I am doing quite a few things on my own now, hopefully they will get me my own van soon. We'll see. I am *helping* mom coach the under 14 soccer team (rec) this year, I say *helping* because I attend when I am not out of town with work. lol. That happens alot. THe company recently bought a company in Athens, so now I am getting to know athens very well. We go there weekly. Anyway, Church is going ok, don't really have anything bad or good to report, which isn't good in my opinion... My car has broken down, don't have a clue what's wrong with it, but it's sitting in front of my pastor's house right now, and has been for about a month now. Really annoying. Well that's it for now, hopefully I'll actually post sometime, but we know how that goes..... ;D

Hey, Everybody!
lol, anyway I have been busy again as you can imagine. lol, work has had me in Augusta for a week and then in Atlanta for a few days, but that is to be expected now. The big news : I have my car back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, the bad news, it still doesn't work quite right. I think it is just the throttle though, so hopefully it won't be too bad. We're having a friend take a quick look at it. I have the Cantata this weekend at Augusta, so we'll see how that goes. I am also going to O'burg tonight for the Graduation, though I'll probably be late. Anyway, that' s a short rendition of my life for now. I'll try and post again sometime next week. Take it easy!

Hey Everybody!!! lol, I did want to say something about Thanksgiving. I really miss the thanksgiving push that used to surround the holiday. Now even the Christian station is playing Christmas music starting on Thanskgiving. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and all that it stands for, but I think that it may be emphasized a little to much now, or at least to early. Christmas tends to focus on giving and being of good cheer. This is wonderful and definitely needs to be touted and lived by all, yet if one leaves thanksgiving out of the equation, generally human nature will forget about the giving and focus on the getting. Which leads to the loss of good cheer as people want more and more, and think of others less and less. Also Thanksgiving really did a lot more of focusing on God while Christmas focused more on how we interact or should interact with others. Obviously extremes are seen across the board on all of these issues, but I think that in forgetting about Thanksgiving, and the meaning and reason behind it, and focusing more on the "opening of the holiday season" and "turkey day" we are leaving a major portion of our societies need out in the cold. Selfishness doesn't need much to start, and I fear that the loss of thanksgiving to balance Christmas could lead to a rampant outbreak of that terrible disease of green. So, while this is a little late, don't forget to give thanks where thanks is due, especially to the one who deserves it most of all, God.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Ok, well alot has happened since that last post. The next week I was gone the ENTIRE week working near Atlanta. I got some respite over the thanksgiving holiday (which was good, I'll post on that in a minute) but am going to Augusta for the next four days. So I am not really sure about this job now. I enjoy it, but it is way to time consuming. And when you try to add in class and homework it just doesn't cut it. Let alone computer gaming time, and movie time, and ... well you know. lol, anayway so that is what is mostly going on right now. I did get to go bowling with my youth group Wed. night. That was alot of fun. I did horrible though, I never broke a hundred. I think the best I got was like an 86, and that might be stretching it. I blame it on a hurt ankle. It was bothering me. Really. Yeah.. anyway... that was a highlight. I also got to go to the BDLI (Brian Doesn't Like It) Concert. Though that preceded the bowling. That was another major highlight. YA'LL ROCK. lol, it was great, and we're getting a *sniff* MAGNIFICANT sound board. *does a little dance* lol. So life looks good for that. Now if I just had some time to go and play with it, and them....... Yeah. Anyway life is living right now, I'll get back to you'll later!

Work!
lol, well I am starting to get used to my job. Actually it is pretty cool. But it is also TIME CONSUMING!!! I actually went on an over night trip yesterday (through this morning) So I missed class and am going to get my homeowork in late. (YAY!!!) [That's sarcasim, I think...] Anyway that went ok, they did give me my own room which was nice. But I don't know if it can cover the 4hrs it took to get there and then back. lol. Anyway, that was my only complaint. Mac you need to hurry up with the transporter, or teleporter or something. lol. Well I need to be going, I have a lot to do (don't we all...). I'll see you all later. - ;D
